American Angel Services is a faith-inspired 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing Essential Home Repairs and Modifications for homeowners and assisting local food banks and Group Home Services in Kalamazoo County and surrounding areas. We serve our neighbors, widows and widowers, single mothers, seniors, and individuals who may or may not be struggling to afford critical repairs that keep their families safe and independent. By replacing roofs or fixing leaky roofs, updating bathrooms, improving accessibility, and addressing safety issues, we help families stay in their homes with dignity—preventing costly institutional care and breaking cycles of instability.

Our History
Founded by caring individuals who experienced Grace, Blessings and a hand up, and wanted to give back, American Angel Services grew out of hands-on work with Habitat for Humanity. We saw that many families who already had homes, but because of marketplace costs, couldn’t keep them safe and livable. Since then, we’ve helped multitudes of local families through volunteer labor, strategic partnerships, and donor support—always guided by faith, compassion, and practical action.
